Most home security marketing is built on fear. Countdown timers, burglary statistics from 2019, hooded figures in stock photography. We think that's a poor way to treat someone who came here worried.

Here's our position instead.

Layers beat gadgets

No single product secures a house. A door bar helps. An alarm helps. A camera helps. Together they make your home a slower, louder, more visible target than the one next door — and that's genuinely most of what home security is.

We tell you what things don't do

A door security bar adds seconds and forces noise. It will not stop someone determined with a crowbar and time. A dummy camera deters an opportunist and does nothing to a person who has chosen your house. We'd rather say that plainly than have you find out later.

No apps, no subscriptions, no strangers in your house

Everything we sell installs in minutes, by you. It works when the WiFi is down and when the power is out. Nothing here needs an account or a monthly fee.

Renters are welcome here

Most of what we stock leaves no marks and comes with you when you move. If you're in a rental, a dorm or a hotel room, you're not an afterthought.

What we can't do

We can't watch your house. Nobody selling you a $30 alarm can. If you want someone on the other end at 3am, that's a monitored system, and we'll point you to one rather than pretend otherwise.
